Chilling… a deal with the devil. Stuck with nowhere to go. The voices sounding like family members - wow! He used his entire arsenal to get what he wanted from you. He wanted EVERYTHING… 💕
I’m glad it translated, because Pacino was so good in that movie, that I was left thinking what if..yet again. It made me think what if I had that offer, to join those I have lost, what would I do so that internal debate began. It’s strange, how a movie made me go back into myself. But thank you as always Sandra, just curious though, what if you got an offer for something you yearned for, knowing the consequences, what would you do? -Shain
True, and not to cause a stir I prefer Pacino to De Niro. And that's why the movie Heat was like a special treat. That scene in the restaurant? That's a classic-Shain
Thank you Diana, welcome, I hope you join me for this ride and I hope you stay. Because it’s never straight forward. I go to places, not because I like it or am trying to come across as dark, my brain defaults to that. Maybe I was not installed properly. I really appreciate you giving me the time of day-Shain
Wow! This is so evocative and reminds me of a gang murder scenario. I mean I’ve never been in such a scenario, but we have a lot of violence in my beloved nation.
And this sell out, and murder for hire situation is real.
Hi Carol, I appreciate you reading and commenting, this piece was me trying to expolre what if I got an offer to join the people i’ve lost and the debate is internal because if I did, I’ve seen what death does. Yes, we are gone but the ones we leave behind have their entire existence shifted. Thank you for reading - Shain
Wow , thank you for sharing this amazing piece Shain.
As always Sae thanks for giving me the time of day. I appreciate it.-Shain

I want to believe that I would have no part with the devil. I am a devout Christian and Christ leads me away from all of those quandaries.💕
I pray too. But my mind doesn't like to stop. I went to Pacino doing a great job to hey what if were to happen to me? And I started scribbling.-Shain
We never know what’s going to spark creativity in us. When it comes, we act/write… 💕

the blade shaped like a pen? it's so cinematic, precise, and horrifyingly real!
Thank Mirabela, I took the idea of a blood oath or a contract signed in blood, and tried to give it a voice.Thank you for reading!. -Shain

Dealing not in numbers,
but in souls.
Stocks became people.
Currency was flesh, bone,
the splinters of minds coming undone.
So glad to have found you. beautiful!
