Good writing and insightful art.

The mirror sees things as they truly are.

Yes, there is darkness but also light. Also courage. Also nobility of spirit.

After the decent into darkness there is the return to the light. There is transformation, wisdom gained, creativity.

Your work has mythic resonance.

Well done!

Hey Grey. I really appreciate you taking the time to read and comment on this piece..

What you said about transformation and light, I get it, I really do. And maybe that’s true for some. Maybe even for me, eventually. But this piece wasn’t about the return. It was just about being in it. In the grey. In the weight.

Sometimes writing is how I sit with that, without needing to fix it or frame it as something noble. Just to say, this is where I am right now.

Still, it means a lot that you saw something more in it. That you looked and stayed. That matters.

Thank you - Shain

Grey is a liminal color.

Neither darkness or light.

I recognised the creativity, and wanted to acknowledge it.

A seed in dark earth finds its own route.

Hey, thanks, I appreciate you reading and commenting. I live a lot in my head, especially now, and sometimes when your mind is going a million miles per second, you just grab your notepad and scribble furiously. Then you look at it with fresh eyes, maybe a couple of days later, and you think, why did I write this, and then it hits, and you refine it into something that says the same thing without taking four pages. That's exactly how this piece came to be.

Thanks again

Hey Sandra, yeah we do but sometimes it just doesn’t pan out and that’s fine, you learn and you grow. it may not be the best way to go forward, but sometimes that’s all i can do without snapping. Thanks for your support always.
